Welcome to the website of the PRIDE Project.
PRIDE is the acronym for Profiling Relations In Drug trafficking in Europe.

This project has been co-funded by Drugs Policy Initiatives, Justice Programme of the European Commission (Grant Agreement: HOME/2014/JDRU/AG/DRUG/7074). It aimed at creating a web-based platform that law enforcement institutions can use to better fight drug trafficking in Europe.

The PRIDE platform has been designed to facilitate cross-border investigations and intelligence operations by using chemical profiling data and information on drug seizures. It benefits from knowledge and skills from many different sectors such as computing, statistics, chemistry and more.

The PRIDE platform works like a smart analyst:

  • It can collect and process large amounts of information seeing the relationships between them
  • It tells how similar drug samples are and how probable it is that they share a common origin, batch or preparation process
  • It can receive data from an unlimited range of connection sources in real time and then easily share the output at both a national and international level

All of this allows Law Enforcement Agencies and Governmental Institutions to better understand the evolutions of the drug market and to better coordinate the actions for the drug trafficking control.
